Helping You Achieve Improved Vision & Eye Health

Eye Exams

According to the American Optometric Association, patients should receive eye exams at least once a year, twice if they are at risk for ocular diseases. During an eye exam, we will discuss any problems you have been experiencing with your eyes and will ask you questions about your medical history, health, family history, and more. Our goal is to get a complete picture of your ocular health and to use this information when recommending treatments.

Vision Testing

Regular vision tests are essential for ensuring any glasses or contact prescriptions are accurate and up-to-date. We use several tests to measure your eyesight and based on the results, will write a new or updated prescription for eyeglasses or contacts.

Functionality Testing

We use several eye functionality tests to measure how the eyes work separately and together. Tests include color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, eye muscle ability, and light responsiveness. These tests help diagnose different eye conditions, such as amblyopia (lazy eye) and strabismus (crossed eyes).

Eye Health Testing

Eye health testing allows us to diagnose any developing eye diseases, such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy. Based on the results, we can recommend a treatment plan for you to treat or maintain any eye conditions. If surgery is needed to address your eye condition, we work closely with many ophthalmologists in the area and can provide a referral.

Contact Lenses

Before prescribing contacts, we will determine if contacts are the right choice for you. Contacts may not be best for patients who have chronic allergies, dry eyes, or are prone to eye infections.

To decide on the best type of contacts for you, we will perform a vision exam, which will test your levels of nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Based on these results, we will work with you to select the right type of contact lenses for you.

We offer contacts from high-quality brands such as Acuvue, Ciba Vision, Bausch & Lomb, CooperVision, and more. Types of lenses we offer include:
Lenses for Astigmatism
Bifocal Lenses
Cosmetic Lenses
Soft Gas Permeable Lenses
Rigid Gas Permeable Lenses
Corneal Refractive Therapy Lenses (contacts worn at night to restructure the cornea for better vision)
